Self-Esteem is very important for your dignity in any occasion or situation. I am not a professional, or an expert about anyone other than the information I provide for myself. As an illustration, self-regard is a well known topic with several theories.  Of course, always consult a professional for any medical needs. On the contrary, my self-assurance has always been very high and this post is being shared with an intent to Inspire & Motivate.

“Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life, but define yourself.”
― Harvey Fierstein

Self-Esteem is how you feel about yourself as a person. It can also be known as self-worth or pride you have in yourself. To put it differently, an example that may destroy your pride is: If you are on your job and a new clique of friends come along, now they are all up for a promotion and you are booted out of the equation. Or Not?

Most note worthy, another key point is that self-care is how confident you are in your own worth or abilities. On the positive side, how much self-respect do you have for yourself.

“In youth, it was a way I had,
To do my best to please.
And change, with every passing lad
To suit his theories.

But now I know the things I know
And do the things I do,
And if you do not like me so,
To hell, my love, with you.”
― Dorothy Parker, The Complete Poems of Dorothy Parker

Self-Confidence Questions People Often Ask?

  • How do you define confidence?
  • How do I improve my worth?
  • What is low self-esteem?

“That’s what real love amounts to – letting a person be what he really is. Most people love you for who you pretend to be. To keep their love, you keep pretending – performing. You get to love your pretence. It’s true, we’re locked in an image, an act – and the sad thing is, people get so used to their image, they grow attached to their masks. They love their chains. They forget all about who they really are. And if you try to remind them, they hate you for it, they feel like you’re trying to steal their most precious possession.”
― Jim Morrison

How do you define self-improvement?

From a psychological perspective, self-satisfaction describes the comprehensive awareness of a person’s self-worth or personal value.

For students, the dictionary defines self-esteem as his or her own abilities to have feelings of satisfaction for himself or herself.

“Every woman that finally figured out her worth, has picked up her suitcases of pride and boarded a flight to freedom, which landed in the valley of change.”
― Shannon L. Alder
